PROJECT UPDATE: KNOWLTON COVERED BRIDGE
The Knowlton Covered Bridge project is nearing completion. This project has been a long time coming; the Knowlton Covered Bridge’s center span collapsed in July 2019, and the rear span collapsed a short time later. This project is an LPA project for Monroe County and ODOT. Monroe County supplied all of the timber from locally sourced trees, and the timber was cut by sawmills in Ohio. The crew members that worked on the project consist of Foreman Jeff McGuire, Dannie Wilson, Clay Slevin, Brenton McGuire, Austin White, Tyler Strahler, Jordan Sullivan, Jeremy McGuire, and Brady Cartee.
