PROJECT: TURNBERRY GOLF COURSE – EMERGENCY BRIDGE REPAIRS
The Righter Company, Inc. was contacted by the City of Columbus to repair damages at Turnberry Golf Course. Their bridge that accesses the golf course had the abutments partially washed out causing the structure to shift. Work included driving piling next the existing super structure, installing a header beam at either end of the bridge, and setting the bridge on the piling. Rock channel protection was also installed for additional protection and prevent future washout. Mark Litter was the onsite foreman with help from Robert Ward, Pete Litter, Justin Adams, and Matt Mitchell. Jacobi Schmalenberger was the project manager. Summer ’23.
