A Smith truss covered bridge that Righter completed work on in 2015 has received national recognition in The Historical Marker Database. We are proud to have restored this bridge and to have provided the owner and the community with a piece of history they can enjoy for years to come.

“The BX Craftsmanship Award judges have selected 10 recipients to be honored with a 2016 BX Craftsmanship Award. The recipients were selected from 30 nominations of work completed throughout the central Ohio area during the past year.
Since 1964, the BX Craftsmanship Awards Program has recognized the importance of craftspeople for the quality work they provide to the local construction industry.
This year’s recipients will be recognized during the 124th BX Annual Meeting in November. Profiles of the winners and their work will be published in future issues of the BX eNewsletter.”

A recent Righter purchase, our new Link-Belt 250, is a smooth operating machine with a high lifting capacity compared to similar-sized excavators in our fleet. It has nice features such as a rear view camera so the operator can see what is behind the excavator. One of our operators has also commented that it has a more comfortable cab than other excavators we own. Here at Righter, we are always looking to upgrade and improve our fleet of heavy equipment.
